At Sole, it is our top priority to ensure the privacy and security of your information.

Security

Sole and Twilio have a multitude of security layers built into the platform, to ensure your financial information is safe and that you can transact with confidence.

Can someone update my bank balance through Sole?

The connection to your bank account is "read-only" so no one can move or use your money in Sole. In addition, we do not distribute, share or sell your information/data to third parties.

Key security objects

Sole takes advantage of state-of-the-art encryption and authentication technologies, including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), digital certificates, and RSA encryption. Internet security is supported by addressing three key security objectives: Authentication, Privacy, and Integrity.

Authentication:

  • A personal identification number (PIN) and a customer ID number is required to use the service

Sole utilises Multi-factor authentication, which means you are protected with an additional layer of security even if your Sole login is compromised.

Privacy:

  • A passcode, face ID or finger print unlock feature is included in all versions of Sole to ensure that only you have access to your financial information.

Integrity:

  • We perform regular checks to ensure the integrity of your data. We do not share or distribute your information to any third parties.

Your Internet Banking details are stored in an encrypted state, meaning no one (including Sole employees) is able to view or access your financial information, even from the back end.
